40HR IMMERSION

ONLINE - FEBRUARY 1st TO FEBRUARY 27TH, 2021

 

This is a one month online yoga immersion, for students and teachers looking to immerse themselves in their yoga practice. This immersion is for people who want to: progress in their asana practice, apply yoga philosophy to their life, learn about HOV's alignment principles and their application to your anatomy, and harness the power of the mind and body through pranayama and meditation.

This immersion is a pre-requisite for all of our other programs as it covers the alignment principles integral to HOV methodology.

The immersion consists of 8 hrs of pre-recorded video content each week to be done at your own pace, and a zoom livestream at the end of each week (which will be recorded for those who cannot attend).

Who is it for? 

This immersion is for anyone looking to deepen their personal practice of yoga: wether it be physical, mental, philosophical or spiritual. Spend a month dedicated to yourself, get stronger and play with intermediate postures through our progressive vinyasa classes, contemplate new perspectives in our engaging philosophy discussions, learn about anatomy and HOV's alignment principles, and connect internally through meditation and breath. This program is for dedicated students and yoga teachers. 

The immersion runs from February 1st to 27th 2021. Or you can complete it in your own time over the course of one year. (When you purchase the course, you will have access to it for one year).

You will receive 8 hours of pre-recorded content/week to go through at your own pace.

At the end of each week we will have a 90min ZOOM livestream session: the session starts with a 15min meditation followed by a 75min Question and Answer Period (where students can ask questions about the week's content).

ZOOM Livestreams will be held on Saturday's (Feb 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th) at 7am-8:30am AEDT. If you cannot attend (or can only attend a portion of it) the classes will be recorded and posted to your portal later that day for you to do in your own time. (If you live in Toronto the days and times are: Fridays Feb 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th at 3pm-4:30pm)

What do I need? 

A yoga mat, 2 blocks, 1 yoga strap (or a belt) and access to some wall space (we will be using the wall to go upside in our progressive classes). If you wish to attend the ZOOM livestream classes, you will have to download the ZOOM app.
